L’AFFARE

http://www.laffare.co.nz/

With a sturdy reputation for top quality coffee, L’affare Café doesn’t disappoint. Expectedly the coffee was delicious and creamy but the real treat was the food. Juxtapositions of fresh and rich flavours combined to excellently balanced fusions within all of the meals devoured. In addition to the flavours, the exquisite food presentation and beautiful art deco décor showcase the impressive attention to detail they have excelled at creating. We loved our time there, made special by the professional yet friendly staff, who even threw in the odd titbit of humour. It was easy to see why L’affare Café is just the right kind of place for not only a good catch-up with your bestie but a place to impress your corporate cliental.

Louise had a Granola and a Iced Almond Latte. She said “Love the quietness which is a challenge to create in such a big space. Loved the FOH manager – her customer service is exceptional. Very successful transplant from its cult Wellington roots – L’affare Melrose becoming a new fave already.”

Mel had Beef Tacos with Kimchi and an Asahi. She said “What a fab place, spacious and calm surroundings. Delicious flavours (definitely recommend the beef tacos!). Perfect Friday lunch.”

Bri had Avocado, lime, chilli & pistachio toast with side of hash and a Diary free coconut Ice Cream, Banana, cacao nibs and almond milk Smoothie. She said “Smoothie was amazing, and the serving size of the avocado toast is very generous. Service was top notch. Only let down was the heat made it hard to stay longer than necessary.”

Jeffrey had a Smoked Kahawai Omelette and a cold coffee. He said “Overall nice experience.”

Phil had Beef Tacos with Kimchi and an Asahi. He said “Amazing service, great food (esp coffee), and very cool decor. What more could you ask for!”
