Louise had the carter’s sprouted bread with smashed avocado & creamy mushrooms and the cacao superfoods smoothie. She said, ‘Freaking awesome. Love the décor, especially the exposed bricks and eggshell lights. Love love loved my smoothie. Top service even on a crazy busy day. #happy #evenwithoutbacon.’

Katie had the raw mexican plate with 3 hand-made soft raw corn tacos filled with mexican-spiced mushrooms & courgette with a side of dirty rice… oh and a matcha latte with cashew & macadamia milk and honey. She said, ‘Loving the table setting, especially the monogrammed wooden platter that my matcha latte came in! The tables were a bit crammed and noisy though, good business for Little Bird!’

Mel had the buckwheat pappardelle with broccolini, portobelle & cultured nut cheese and the bBerry antioxidiser to drink. She said, ‘The pappardelle far exceeded my expectations, the flavours were amazing. I can’t wait to try it again! Very cool vibe, humming with people, feeling healthy, taste buds were buzzing. I will recommend this to my health conscious girlfriends, actually to any of my girlfriends!’

Joe had the kumara gnocchi and a cacao maca boost. He said, ‘Great creative, tasty with lots of original flavours. Nice stuff.’

Annie had the kumara gnocchi with oyster mushrooms, tarragon cream & pine nut parmesan and a filter coffee with nut milk. She said, ‘Great selection of interesting things on the menu, not your standard cafe fare. The food was amazing, full of beautiful flavours and goodness. Each ingredient was well thought out and complimentary. The filter coffee was sad times, bitter aftertaste and the nut milk curdled. However, I loved everything else and will definitely be back!’
