The Huskies were very impressed by the array of mouth-watering treats on offer and delighted by the warm customer service from owners Mark & Billie. We give a round of applause for their amazing job renovating the previous dark bar interior to an inviting, light filled, modern designed cafe. The Hot Chocolate was (hands down) the crowd favourite, we spent a lot of time oohing and aahing over the lot of sweet treats on the side. We wish them all the best!
Louise had the Grilled Chicken Salad and a Peppermint Hot Chocolate. She said "Loved the owners, Mark & Billie (hence Marllie's) who were super smiley, welcoming and enthusiastic. Hot chocolate was generous in size, accompanied by marshmallow, chocolate fish AND a Whittakers Sante Bar (the last bit was my fault) #sugaroverload. The salad was sadly not as generous, given the price, and also served on bread which was unusual. Great flavours but the eggplant relish would do better as a side so its dominance could be tempered. Epic outdoor space and light airy design with epic street frontage - we hope they last longer than their two predecessors, Peasant and Onslow (link to previous reviews). "
