We’re on a roll with finding fab places to eat this month, and Honey Bones Café in Grey Lynn definitely makes the list! This spot is not only super cool to hang out at, but it also left us all smiling with their food options.
If you’re on a health kick like us, you’ll love the menu here. They’ve got a great mix of lovely Middle Eastern flavours blended with traditional café fare, so there’s something to suit every taste. The atmosphere is laid-back but lively, and it’s clear why this place is rarely empty. If you’re planning to visit on the weekend, be sure to get there early to snag a table!

Louise had the murguez. She said, “Always top notch flavours, garnish, plating, service. Can’t fault it. Stopped shy of licking my plate clean, but only just.”
Mel had the chilli lentil soup with poached eggs and flat bread and drank ginger and liquorice tea. She said, ” I really like this spot, super trendy vibes, always busy and delicious flavours.”
Sam had the halloumi bowl and drank a carrot & orange juice. He said, “Super good, nice little spot and lots of healthy options. Good size portions and lots of halloumi.”
Sarah had the Instanbul scrambled and drank a pomegranate oolong tea. She said, “Sooooo scrummy! I love this spot, the food is always on point. Perfect if you love eggs ha. So many options I still need to come back and try.”
