WELCOME EATERY

welcomeeatery.co.nz

Sometimes we wished we worked on Grafton Road — imagine the lunchtime strolls in the Domain, Ceremony Burgers and — to our recent discovery — the Welcome Eatery. Think wide open spaces, charcoal paint with warm wood and plenty of greenery. We adored their patterned ceramic plates and intriguing menu of lamb koftas, kumara-noodle laksas and vanilla ricotta quesadillas. The spacious seating options also make it a popular meeting spaces for corporates and students alike. A welcome eatery this is, indeed!

Innie had The Teriyaki Salmon with chargrilled prawn skewers on a grilled rice cake. She said “If I worked local I’d be here everyday.”

Katie had The Teriyaki Salmon with chargrilled prawn skewers on a grilled rice cake and a Cocoa Smoothie. She said “Lovely plating and good portions. Coming back to this one!”

Mel also had The Teriyaki Salmon with chargrilled prawn skewers on a grilled rice cake and a Cocoa Smoothie. She said “What a fab place, can’t believe we haven’t been there before! Spacious (you seriously could swing a cat!), trendy, delish food, the offices surrounding this place are very lucky to have such a great spot to use as their local.”

Rebecca had The Teriyaki Salmon with chargrilled prawn skewers on a grilled rice cake. She said “Overall really enjoyed this place. Looking at every else’s plates made be want to come back and try more.”
