For this petite Ponsonby cafe, the key is in the little details: from polaroid-plastered walls, to hand cream samples in bell jars, to dollar lollybags at the counter, this place had the Huskies' intrigued.
Other little quirks include getting a key to go for a 'wee walk' down the road and around the corner to the loo. Almost as quirky as Anton's 'he invents songs' (songwriter) and Innie's 'he's a safeguard' (lifeguard). Fun times!
Louise had the Yakidog and a Mocha. She said 'Loved the space - great branding, nice vibe, lots of cute things to ooh and aaah at, a stack of great mags and a dangerous sweets cabinet! Supreme coffee was good and came fast. Yakidog was... unusual.'
Innie had the Cannelloni Bruschetta with a Latte. She said 'Healthy food can be yummy too!'
Katie said 'very interesting combination. We were some wasabi-inspired tears while eating it though! I foresee a home-remake.'
