SCULLERY

instagram.com/scullery/?hl=en

Scullery, the latest venture by the same people who own Teed St Larder, Toru and Scratch Bakers, is well, cool.

It’s new, long and slender, nicely designed and perfect for people-watching on busy K’road. Though it is a long shape and has plenty of tables, it feels spacious and nicely set out.

The Scullery menu has an range of the predictable and the eclectic (a bit of game in there for the brave and quinoa in there for the hipster vegan) and probably something to tickle most fancies. It boasts all the brands we love like Six Barrel Soda, Hakanoa Ginger Syrup and Three Beans #nomnom.

The main trick with finding Scullery is being able to find a suitable carpark and then an available table, especially in the weekends when it is often heaving.

We likey.

Louise had the Warm Chicken Salad with couscous, feta, cauliflower, dates, pine nuts and a Decaf Mocha. She said ‘Had this salad the weekend before and love love LOVED it – but this time round, the chef was a bit heavy-handed with the salt. Still yum though. Keen to try the fried wild rice next time.’

Innie had the Brioche with vanilla custard and a Latte. She said ‘K’rd is getting HOT HOT HOT!’
