TACO LOCO

http://tacoloconz.co.nz/

You would’ve thought that since we work 5-minutes drive away from Symonds Street that we’d eat there more often. But you’d probably have more luck finding true love on K-Road than finding a park there (no shade thrown at K-Road, just saying). Today seems to be one of our lucky days though, the Huskies all crammed into our Husk mobile and landed ourselves at this Mexican eatery, which serves house-made tacos and taco bowls where you can customise toppings to your liking. You HAVE to try their corn chips n’ dip, there’s some epic cheesy jalapeno paprika sorcery in there and we could each have taken shots of it if we were all not civilised people. Go. Go. Go.

Louise had the Huevos Locos and a Flat White. She said “Last day of school meant Husk lunch swelled to 11 to include the kids. Charlie from Taco Loco is the man, and spent ages teaching the kids soccer tricks. Would go back for that experience alone.”

Katie had the Chicken Nachos which were topped with tomato sauce, cheese, corn, coriander, sour cream and red onions. She said “Simple but satisfying dishes, super attentive and fun with the kids! That in itself deserves 6 stars.”

Mel had the Beef Quesadilla and a freshly squeezed orange & apple juice. She said “Fun place to eat, nice and casual, lovely staff, yummy flavours!”

Rebecca had the Chicken Quesadilla. She said “It was an enjoyable experience, loves the fresh juice and the Chicken Quesadilla was filling.”

Bri had the Veggie Quesadilla. She said “Really great vibe here. The staff are friendly and the decor is fun. Generous portions, which you don’t seem to get normally with quesadillas. Would come here again.”

Jeffrey had the Large Beef Taco and a Jalico. He said “Great bunch of guys that work there provide very friendly service.”
