Jacuzzi
We strolled a few blocks down from our studio today to Jacuzzi for lunch and immediately felt like we’d levelled up our cool factor. Sitting outside in the Ponsonby sunshine sipping iced americanos and juices, we fully embraced our inner people watcher and settled in. The small plates were the stars of the table, especially the ceviche which was so fresh it practically flirted with us. The whole place has that effortless Ponsonby sheen that makes you feel a tiny bit fancy, even if you rocked up in your loved-but-beaten-down birks.
The fit out inside is stunning and you can tell the place would absolutely hum at peak hours. Service was spot on and the food hit that sweet spot of tasty, shareable and perfect for a leisurely lunch. It’s exactly the sort of place where you sit back, soak up the atmosphere and try to work out how to wrangle the rest of the day off. A little bit luxe, a little bit cheeky and definitely somewhere we’d wander back to on a sunny day.

Louise had a bit of everything and drank an iced americano. She said, “Stone’s throw from our new studios and obsessed with the ceviche. It felt fun to play the Ponsonby part in the sun today.” 😉
Mel had a bit of everything and drank an apple juice. She said, “You just feel a little bit fancy when you eat here! The ceviche was epic, the atmosphere was very ‘Ponsonby’ as we sat outside for all to see lol. The day was pretty nice which added to the experience, so good sitting in the sunshine feeling the feels.”
Sam had a bit of everything and drank pineapple juice. He said, “Lunch was really good, a spot that is very popular in Ponsonby, it’s a good spot for people watching and to be watched, ha! The drinks were good, the food was yum but nothing crazy.”
Sarah had a bit of all the gluten free things. She said, “It felt very Ponsonby-cool to be lunching here. The fit-out is absolutely beautiful – I’m sure the place really comes alive when it’s busy. Service was excellent. The food was good too – I’m a big fan of sharing lots of small plates, so it was right up my alley. Also, shoutout to the milk in my latte – beautifully done!”
