Louise had the fried chicken. She said, “The new owner/chef is doing a sterling job of getting everything out on his own, but there is a bit of a service delay and it shows. However, the wait for food is well made up for by the cheery and helpful staff and the yummy meals. Being one of my locals, there is a high chance I will be back here soon.”
Mel had the mushrooms on sourdough – but I swapped out the sourdough for English muffins – and drank hot chocolate. She said, “Nice spot, love the energy from the staff, the flavours were really good and portions were just right!”
Sam had the salmon bagel and drank a flat white. He said, “Nice, simple cafe. The menu was a little basic and there weren’t really any super healthy options. If I was in the area I might pop back in, but not really a destination cafe for me. Nice coffee and hot chocolates though.”
Sarah had fried chicken and drank green tea. She said, “This place was good! The fried chicken was very well done and had such a great flavour! Also tried the brownie from the cabinet and what a delight that was – super fudgy and rich.”
