Little 'Lato - award-winning gelato sorbet and vegan gelato

Turns out there is a gelato university in Italy – and Little ‘Lato’s founder Hannah Wood absolutely aced it. She brought her frozen finesse back to NZ and launched what’s now one of the country’s most-loved gelato brands, starting in Morningside.

Fast forward a few scoops: Little ‘Lato’s racked up over 85 awards (including Supreme Champion 2024), gone national with scoop shops and stockists, and made vegan gelato cool enough to win Best in NZ. We help design the packaging for her amazing flavours and collabs – and proudly consider “taste-testing” a key part of the creative process.

We loved working with Hannah on the labels for her gorgeous new gelato pints and to be honest, we all get a blush of pride spotting them in the shops! It’s almost as satisfying as downing Hannah’s delicious gelato in real life. Here’s to more Husky-Lato magic 😉
