Every week or so, the Huskies head out for lunch — part team time, part carb-fuelled adventure, part self-appointed food critique. We’re not professionals (unless you count how seriously we take cheese scones), but we know what we like. Here’s our totally biased, occasionally dramatic guide to local Dorkland cafés we’ve tried, tested and (mostly) adored.

Lunch Review FAQs
Why does a design studio review lunch spots?
Because we like people, food and getting out of the studio. Our Eats page is our highly unscientific guide to places we have eaten around Auckland, particularly near our Ponsonby home base. We have been having team lunches together for years and thought, 'Why not share what we are experiencing?' Whether parking, service, menu design or plating, there's always interesting stuff to tell you about!
Are your lunch reviews sponsored?
Nup. They are simply places the Huskies have visited and opinions we have formed over lunch.
Can we suggest somewhere for the Huskies to review?
